In the not too distant past, we were the Upgradians. Our technological advances were reaching the singularity. Quantum computing changed everything, artificial intelligence changed everything, science and religion found equilibrium, however, our understanding of the Universe was still incomplete.

We created infinity brain interfaces and our species joined with the intelligent technology. Initially there was some resistance to this but fears were soon left behind with the 'old ways'. Our understanding expanded but biological limitations prevented our species from transitioning into some realms of the discovered multi-verse. Then something unexpected happened. We evolved. Upgradians, as we became known throughout all existence were initially peaceful and progressive..

Some say their intentions still are peaceful, some say they are trying to protect others from harm we will one day do, perhaps we are the aggressors or maybe victims of our own ingenuity, that's the thing with war, the other side has their reasons and if you knew what they were then diplomacy would have worked out eventually.

We sent in our final emissary and THEY sent back wave after wave of our own technology.

Are we fighting ourselves, we really don't know any more.

So, we continue in our peaceful intent, sending in one last emissary again, and again, with the protection of the best pilot of our newest craft. Your mission..

You are a rookie pilot officer in a highly maneoverable aircraft with awesome firepower, the Upgradians are invading and you must use all your skill to defeat relentless waves and navigate enigmatic areas, collecting points, energy and increasingly powerful weapon upgrades in continuous gameplay. The easy to pilot aircraft uses a simple one finger touch control system, touch, tap, slide or swipe to fly, shoot and collect upgrades. Cursor keys, WASD and space bar can also be used if playing on a desktop browser. The graphics are pixel art, the sounds and music are retro too creating an authentic arcade experience.
